I love this summertime family portrait session I did for the Ondrus family this summer at Toledo Botanical Garden. As part of my pre-session consultation with the family I always discuss clothing because I think it’s critical to the overall design and feel of the image.
This family, a mother and her two daughters truly value family portraiture and regularly have professional portraits done. This time they wanted a summer garden theme to their images with lots of green and garden settings. Toledo Botanical Garden made for the perfect setting with all of its lovely gardens, trees, foliage and pathways. I love the way the ladies green outfits echo the colors of the garden!
This is the perfect time for family portraits! We are still enjoying the mild temperatures of early fall, along with the last of summer colors. In the next few weeks we will enjoy a lovely autumn that promises those rich earthy hues that make for wonderful portrait sessions.
