Last week senator Joe Biden was in Toledo visiting UAW local 12 and I was fortunate enough to be asked by his campaign to photograph the event. It was the first time I have met the vice president and I found him to be sincere and inspiring. He spoke to a packed house with lots of enthusiastic followers.
He also happens to be very photogenic (and tan as well) which made my job much easier!
When my job was done the White House photographer was nice enough to snap a picture of me with the senator. As an event photographer this one is at the top of my list and I am looking forward to possible future photography opportunities during the 2012 presidential campaign.
